"Elf"in Around Los Angeles

You already know what I big fan I am of Street Food Cinema when I blogged about them earlier this year. When the season ended in October, I was desperately hoping that they would have a Christmas event and thankfully my wish came true!

Yuletide Cinema presented the classic Christmas movie "Elf" at the Historic Palace Theatre in Los Angeles.

We were encouraged to wear our ugly Christmas sweaters, which Sarah and I were glad to do!

We came hungry expecting to be bombarded with food vendors, but sadly it was not like their regular events so we were a little disappointed...until we found this treasure!

AKA the most delicious blueberry and peach cobbler! It was so warm with the perfect mixture of sweet and tart.

We sat in our balcony seats enjoying the scenery and a hilarious elf calling out the naughty and nice list. It was great entertainment while waiting for the movie to start.

The Historic Palace Theatre is over a hundred years old and it is so beautiful inside. The interior has changed throughout the years, but the effect is still there.

Thankfully Santa and Mrs. Claus came out and sang some old fashioned carols.

The best things always happen on the way to the restroom...

like when I ran into Santa and Mrs. Claus! Thankfully they took a few minutes to take a picture and my Christmas wish list.

The movie of course was great! If you have never seen "Elf" before it's a Christmas must see! We watch it every year in my family.

Yuletide Cinema has one more event on December 20th. Feel free to bring drinks and snacks, and I would highly recommend a first row seat as they are older and designed for early twentieth century humans.

Hope everyone is getting into the Holiday season! It's definitely my favorite time of the year.
